Third grade is very active in service projects.  The following are some projects which help our school and others throughout the year:

• Please bring in your aluminum can tabs, collected for Ronald McDonald house.
• Please remember to save your Box Tops for Education to benefit our school.
• Donate your used printer cartridges to the school.
• During the month of September the third grade will be sponsoring a canned food drive to benefit the food pantry here at Lakewood Baptist Church.  Be gathering your canned goods now!

Third grade has gotten off to a great start!  Please make sure to read your goals sheet carefully each week so your child will be prepared for tests and ready for class each day.  Also, make sure to complete homework and sign homework journal each night.  I am excited about the atmosphere of our class and continue to pray daily for each student.
