• Science  Plants   Bring plants to share with the class
• Bring your Box tops for eduacation by Friday morning                      

Week of August 31- September 4

• Bible Story-  Cain and Abel    Memorize Luke 2:5-6
• Math-  Work nightly on addition and subtraction flashcards
• Spelling-  List 3 Test Friday
• Reading-  Continue to read aloud to anyone 10 minutes nightly
• Grammar-  Vocabulary test this Wednesday Study # 1 & 2 page 91
• History-  Test Wed. Sept. 9 p. 2-29
• Science-  Test Tues. Sept.1 Chapter 1     Quiz Sept. 4 p. 28-33  While we are studying plants bring in any potted plant you wish to share with the class. 

My name is Carole Thornton and I love teaching third grade at Veritas Academy!  This is my seventh year here and I can’t imagine teaching anywhere else.  Teaching God’s word along with educational principles is my passion, and I thank God for the opportunity He gives me to serve Him in this manner.
