 Dear Parents,

It is so hard to believe that this school year is over!  It seems like such a short time ago that we began this journey called Kindergarten together :-)  Thank you so much for the privilege of being your child’s teacher this year.  These students will always hold a special place in my heart.  I am so proud of how much they have learned and how they have grown and matured.  Of all the things they have learned, I pray that they will hold the Bible lessons and God’s Word in their hearts, and that they will place their trust in Jesus and live their lives for Him.  After all, that’s all that really matters.

Love in Christ,

Mrs. Stamps

Here are our announcements for this week:

***This is going to be a busy and fun week for us in Kindergarten!  Please make every effort to arrive when the doors are opened at 8:15.  This will be especially important on Tuesday and Friday, when we have Field Day and parties.  We will have our graduation practice before these events, and we need to get started right at 8:30. ***

*Tuesday, May 11:  Field Day – Kindergarten students will go at 10:00 a.m.!!  Parents are welcome to join us.  We will meet you in the classroom at 10:00 a.m. and go outside from there.  There will be no uniform requirements on Tuesday!  Students should wear sunscreen and they need to bring a towel and a change of clothes (make sure clothes and towels are labeled).  Students may be dismissed to parents after Field Day.  Please let me know if your child is leaving with you so he or she is not included in the lunch count for that day (we will eat in the classroom after we finish Field Day activities).

*Wednesday, May 12 and Thursday, May 13:  Students need to wear uniforms.  All supplies, backpacks, etc. will be sent home on Thursday.  Students will not need to bring anything with them on Friday!

*Friday, May 14:  ½ day and party day.  Please make sure students arrive to school on time.  We will have graduation practice right at 8:30!  Our party will begin at 10:00 a.m.  Parents, please join us!  We will meet you in the classroom at 10:00 a.m. for our party.  Students will have breakfast and other treats, so they may want to eat a light breakfast Friday morning. Students will be dismissed to parents after the party or to after-school care at noon.

*Kindergarten graduation:  May 14, 2010 at 6:00 p.m.!  Family and friends are invited to attend!
